Crayfish Hunting in Michigan

I went crayfish hunting in Michigan. I found two clams and a lot of big crayfish. We caught them by wading in the river and turning over rocks. When we saw them we put a stick in front of them and a net behind them. The stick scared them into the net. Then we put them in a big bucket with holes in the top. B.J. also found a fish and I got to hold it. I held a crayfish too. When we got home we cooked them and drank pine needle tea outside. Daddy's uncle Dennis told us that pine needle tea is very healthy. When early explorers came to America some people in their group were dying from scurvy. The Indians made them drink pine needle tea and it saved half the group. Dennis made the tea by boiling water, putting pine needles in, then taking them out. I didn't try any because almost everyone else thought it just tasted like hot water.
